Referee
The referee app is where you find the matches you have been given: when and where each one is, who is playing, the lineups both teams named, and anything the organizer wants you to know.
It lives at app.scored.gg/referee.
Getting in
Section titled “Getting in”Your organizer adds you as a referee for their tournament, using the email address on your Scored account. Sign in with that account and the app opens on your tournaments. If you were signed out, Scored brings you back to the page you asked for once you are in.
If nothing is waiting for you, ask the organizer to check they added the same address you sign in with.
Your tournaments
Section titled “Your tournaments”Your tournaments lists every tournament you have been given access to, grouped into Now, Upcoming and Past. Tap one to see your matches in it.
Scored remembers the last tournament you opened and takes you back into it next time, so during an event you land where you need to be.
Before an organizer has added you anywhere, the page reads No tournaments yet.
Your assignments
Section titled “Your assignments”Inside a tournament you get your own matches, and only yours. They are grouped in the order you need them:
- Live - matches under way, at the top and without a heading
- Upcoming matches - soonest first
- Past matches - most recent first
Each match shows the start time and date in the tournament’s timezone, the division and match reference, the court, both teams with their logos, and the score once there is one. Until then the two teams are separated by vs.
Under that, the match lists its crew: the referees on it, and either the assistant referees or the team on assistant-referee duty. Your own name is marked (you). A duty still waiting on another result shows what it is waiting for, such as the winner of an earlier match, rather than a name.
If the organizer left a note on the match, it sits on the card exactly as they typed it. It is worth reading before you walk out - it is where surface changes, ball rules and sudden schedule notes end up.
When you have nothing in a tournament, the page reads No assignments.
If you also organize
Section titled “If you also organize”When you are an organizer of the tournament you are refereeing, an Open organizer view link sits next to the title and takes you to the full tournament.
